I've been skydiving for twelve years, five of them with a display team called 'Team Icarus'. I started jumping at Swansea Parachute Club back in 1990, the club has since closed, but I've many fond memories. My regular club is now South Cerney, but don't get there as often as I'd like. Unfortunately, with a young family and other commitments, spending all my weekends at a drop-zone is no longer possible, but I am determined to get my 500th jump in this year.
This is me diving from an Islander at Midland Parachute Centre (I think!)

This is at a demo I was on for Prince Charles at a Private Charity Polo event,

skydiver by royal appointment ;o)
One of the demos the team perform at every year is the 'Welsh Games Fair' in
Llandeilo. This is a photo of me landing and was published in the South
Wales Echo.
The team make the papers on a regular basis, this is one event that we wished
had made the headlines for a different reason.
This article about the team was written by Chris Jones and appeared in Skydive
magazine.
